Job Description
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and control devices aboard vessels. Troubleshoot electrical faults, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and conduct electrical tests to ensure system reliability. Maintain and repair generators, switchboards, motors, controllers, distribution panels, and lighting circuits. Assist with troubleshooting hydraulic, steering, plumbing, and intake systems. Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems such as radio, radar, sonar, and fire control equipment.
