Job Description
Responsible for executing all cargo operations on board and marine tasks, including but not limited that related to lifesaving equipment, in a safe, efficient and effective manner, as per the Marine Superintendent or Cargo Supervisor instructions, in compliance with MODEC procedures, national and international regulations and standards, liaising with client, authorities and Onshore departments, thus ensuring the unit's availability, safe operation and proper certification, contributing to the business continuity and its growth. The selected professional will perform activities such as advising and participating in the execution of all marine related activities, performing all loading operations in the installation in a safe and efficient manner, being responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining all life-saving equipment on board, and ensuring that all operations related to the Navy are carried out according to the parameters established by regulatory authorities, MODEC's HSEQ-MS Policies and Procedures, MODEC's Marine Operations Manual, IMO, ISM Code, Marpol, SOLAS and Work laws.
